Relieve Your Pain
OSU physicians can help relieve your neck, back and other acute or chronic pain without surgery.
Treatments such as a new disc decompression series
and osteopathic manipulative medicine are available through the OSU Health Care Center.

Core to the practice of osteopathic medicine is osteopathic manipulative treatment. This system of hands-on techniques helps alleviate pain and restore motion.

Osteopathic manipulative treatments most often are
used to treat muscle pain, and can be used to treat asthma, sinus disorder, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraines and menstrual pain.

When appropriate, osteopathic manipulative treatments can complement – or even replace – drugs or surgery. In this way, osteopathic manipulative treatment brings an important dimension to standard medical care.

Our physicians can use the SpineMED™ Table to treat:

  • Herniated Disc
  • Degenerative Disc
  • Sciatica
  • Radiculopathy
  • Facet Syndrome
  • Spinal Stenosis
  • Pre- and post-surgical patients

SpineMED™ Therapy
Patients who suffer herniated and degenerative discs
can find relief from SpineMED™ Therapy. This spinal
disc decompression treatment can reduce pressure in
the discs, shrink disc herniations, and draw in fluids
and nutrients necessary to retract bulging discs.

The treatments consist of 30 minutes of decompression on the SpineMED™ Table on 20 consecutive working days. Most patients find relief of their symptoms after
10-15 sessions. Ideally, these sessions are performed daily with breaks only on the weekends.

You can learn more about SpineMED™ at www.spinemedtherapy.com.

Special pricing is available for a limited time for SpineMED™ Table treatments at OSU Health Care Center.
