OMECO and its affiliated member institutions provide on-going faculty development programs and opportunities to help faculty enhance skills as educators, researchers, administrators, and academics. Skill areas emphasized include knowledge and understanding of osteopathic philosophy, principles and practice, clinical teaching and evaluation methodologies, research, personal development, and computer-assisted instructional resources. Training may be offered through a variety of forms such as teleconferencing, written communications, interactive video, and campus or community-based workshops.
