Family Medicine Residency
The OSU Family Practice Residency Program features a formal curriculum that emphasizes the development of osteopathic family medicine competencies. Ambulatory care and comprehensive family medical services are stressed, and a substantial portion of the resident's
time will be spent at the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine
Health Care Center learning ambulatory care by interacting with patients, their families and clinic staff.
The hospital portion of the training takes place at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. Each resident is also afforded the opportunity to extend his/her knowledge and skills to all areas of primary care through electives.

On a weekly basis, residents attend didactic sessions to enhance their clinical experiences by reviewing current literature, attending specialty lectures, and providing lectures to medical students and residents.

How to Apply
The OSU Family Practice Residency Program accepts applications for our residency positions via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for the NMS Match. ERAS opens for applications on August 15 every year. For more information about the osteopathic match visit their web-site or contact your College of Osteopathic Medicine Clinical Education Office.
OSU accepts ERAS applications through November 15 every year. The program begins interviewing in October and finishes at the end of January. The match takes place in February.
