OSU Medical Center
This is a three-year subspecialty training program designed to develop the analytical and procedural skills required to excel as a clinical gastroenterologist.
The program emphasizes a comprehensive knowledge of gastrointestinal anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
Applicants should be board certified or eligible in internal medicine. A letter of recommendation from your program director and consent to discuss your performance may/will be requested. We encourage you to submit a completed application as soon as possible. The required documentation listed below must be submitted before an interview will be granted.
THE FOLLOWING WILL BE REQUIRED:
A complete AOA application for post graduate education.
Three letters of recommendation from physicians who have observed you during your internal medicine training or clinical practice.
A letter of recommendation from your program director(s).
A copy of your current medial license to practice.
A copy of part I, II and III and COMPLEX or USMLE board scores.
An official osteopathic medical school transcript to include GPA & class rank.
A personal statement regarding your interest in gastroenterology.
A document that includes a return address for regular mail, an e-mail address, phone numbers to contact you, your AOA number, and a passport size picture.
