McDonaldSarah McDonald, D.O., PGY-3
OMECO Chief Resident

Hometown: Verdigris, OK
Undergraduate Education: Northeastern State University, Organismic Biology.
Medical school: Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Plans after residency: I would like to find a job in a Pediatric clinic in Tulsa or surrounding area.
Research: I am continuing research on a retrospective evaluation of breastfeeding behaviors in a residency community clinic that was handed over to me by one of our residents who graduated last year. I will use the analysis obtained last year, to evaluate the effects of the introduction of a resource handout on breastfeeding to the mothers; and later the implementation of a breastfeeding curriculum for residents and staff.
Fun facts: Married to Kenneth who I met in med school - We have two dogs - Love being outside and working in our yard - Love traveling, experiencing different cultures - Can speak Farsi and lived overseas for 10 years
