Global health outreach focus of Third Friday Seminar
OSU Center for Health Sciences Associate Dean of Clinical Research Stanley E. Grogg, D.O., will discuss international medical outreach opportunities during the Third Friday Seminar on Friday, Sept. 20 at noon in D-107.
Grogg, who also serves as medical director of service learning, will present “Global health outreach: the good, the bad and the ugly.” Students, faculty and staff interested in traveling or supporting international outreach programs are invited to the seminar which will highlight the benefits of providing care for underserved, culturally diverse populations.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided at 11:45 a.m. Participants can donate gently used or new scrubs to student mission teams for future trips.
