Community service projects to benefit Eugene Field families
OSU-CHS is hosting a pair of community service projects to support the families of students at Eugene Field Elementary School, the university's Partner in Education school, during the holiday season.
Students, faculty and staff may donate non-perishable food items to help stock the Eugene Field pantry. OSU-CHS is collecting canned vegetables, fruits, soups, meat, pastas, dry goods and self-serve snacks through Monday, Nov. 25. Collection boxes are located at the ground levels of the Barson Building and the Forensic Sciences and Biomedical Research Center.
The OSU-CHS Student National Medical Association chapter is assembling 15 Thanksgiving baskets for families at Eugene Field Elementary. Proceeds from SNMA's Multicultural Food Festival on Tuesday benefit the annual project. SNMA students will deliver the baskets on Nov. 25.
