Eugene Field students to visit OSU-CHS for Mini-Med School

A group of 65 Eugene Field Elementary School students will learn about being healthy and physically active at the OSU-CHS Mini-Med School for Kids on Wednesday from 12:45-2:30 p.m. in Founders Hall.

Fourth- and fifth-grade students will learn about anatomy, nutrition, science and exercise while completing tasks and demonstrations with OSU-COM students from the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians Club.

During the event, students will learn about human anatomy, make healthy snacks, conduct a science experiment and participate in a fitness activity. Supplies for the experiments were provided by the Peds Club New Equipment and Resources to Discover Science (NERDS) program. Mini-Med School is sponsored by the ACOP Peds Club.
