President Hargis to deliver opening address at OOA convention
OSU President Burns Hargis will kick off the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association’s 114th Annual Convention as the opening session speaker on Thursday, April 24 at the Embassy Suites Norman Hotel and Conference Center. The convention, “DOCumentary Family Film Festival,” runs through Sunday, April 27.
The convention includes a variety of continuing medical education sessions featuring eight specialty tracks, including anesthesiology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology and psychiatry, oncology, osteopathic manipulative medicine and pediatrics. On Saturday, April 26 at noon, there will be an update on the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Approval is pending for 30 1-A AOA credits and 30 CME credits from the AAFP. Students, interns and residents can attend for free. Early registration ends Thursday, April 17. For a complete schedule of events or to register, visit the OOA convention website.
