Cooper recognized by national higher ed human resources organization

The College and University Professional Administrators of Human Resources recently honored Sandy Cooper, OSU in Tulsa Human Resources director, at the organization’s Southern Region annual conference in New Orleans, La.

Cooper received the Meritorious Service Award for service and commitment to the university human resources profession, OSU in Tulsa and CUPA-HR. With Al Carlozzi, Ph.D., professor of counseling psychology, Cooper developed a CUPA-HR webinar on assisting transgender employees in the workplace.

For nearly 17 years, Cooper has been with the Human Resources department at OSU in Tulsa. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management and a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from OSU and a juris doctorate from the University of Tulsa.

CUPA-HR provides leadership and resources to more than 1,900 higher education institutions and member organizations and more than 16,000 human resources professionals around the world.
