Jason M. DeFreitas, Ph.D., assistant professor of applied health and educational psychology, will discuss motor function deficits among older adults during the First Friday Seminar at noon on May 6 in D-207.
He will examine whether age-related losses in sensory function are the cause of motor function deficits. DeFreitas’ research centers on the neural adaptations to aging and strength training.
The seminar is free and open to the public. The event is hosted by the OSU-CHS Department of Athletic Training.
