Alumni association golf event raises funds

The 2011 OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine Alumni Association golf tournament at Clary Fields Golf Club continued its tradition of raising funds for alumni causes.

“Coach Eddie Sutton and Pistol Pete (photo, with Dr. Kayse Shrum, provost and dean) attended once again, and we raised nearly $6,000,” said alumni director Ryan Miller.

This year’s tournament drew 12 teams and approximately 50 players. Friends and family members joined golfers at a luncheon before tee-off.

Tournament proceeds fund scholarships, emergency loans and other needs for OSU-COM.
