Chili cook-off, drawings and prizes cap United Way campaign

Chili, desserts and drawings for prizes highlights tomorrow’s final event in the 2011 Tulsa Area United Way campaign from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Founders Hall.

Campus campaign co-chair Ryan Miller said chili dogs and chili burgers also are on the menu. A video connection with OSU-Tulsa will join the two campuses for the event. Chili and a drink is $5, and desserts are available.

Cook-off judges are Dr. Randy Wymore, Dr. Tom Curtis, Dr. Denna Wheeler, Dennis Adams and BJ Reddig. 

Last year, OSU’s two Tulsa campuses raised a combined total of more than $51,600 for the Tulsa Area United Way. This year’s goal is $52,011.  More

Going Green for a Brighter Orange

Neuroscience Night Sept. 30
The Tulsa Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience presents the movie “Awakenings,” starring Robert De Niro and Robin Williams, at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, in Dunlap Auditorium. Admission is free. Drinks and snacks will be served. This movie is rated PG-13.
