Explanation of rotations
The Clerkship Program is divided into 22 one-month rotations (with 2 one-month vacations).  It is organized to permit the greastest degree of educational exposure in a practical clinical environment to develop skills in the areas of patient diagnosis and management.

Required rotations are:

• ACLS
• Medicine I & II
• Surgery
• OB/GYN
• Pediatrics
• Rural Clinic
• Community Clinic
• Community Hospital I & II
• Psychiatry
• Emergency Medicine
• Primary Care Clinic

Required Electives include

• 2 in Primary Care from among:
  • General Internal Medicine
  • Family Practice/OMM
  • General Pediatrics
  • Ob/Gyn
  • Emergency Medicine
• 6 of the Student's choosing
