The Academic Medical District is a bold vision of treatment and research and the largest ever health care investment in downtown Tulsa. The VA Hospital in Tulsa will serve those who have served with state-of the-art facilities and services, and the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center is the next step in making mental health a priority in Tulsa and the surrounding area. OSU Medical Center will undergo multiple phases of improvements and expansions in the coming years, and a new biomedical research facility will revolutionize the areas of pain and addiction research.

Veterans Hospital in Tulsa

In October 2021, leaders from across government, academia, health care and philanthropy came together to celebrate the ceremonial groundbreaking of the future Veterans Hospital in downtown Tulsa. The 275,000 square foot VA Hospital in Tulsa is scheduled to open in late 2024 and serve the more than 65,000 veterans in the Tulsa area.

Graduate Programs

OSU Center for Health Sciences offers graduate degrees in Athletic Training, Biomedical Sciences, Forensic Sciences and Health Care Administration. Our dedicated faculty engage our students through small class sizes, hands-on research and real-world experiences. While it varies by program, we offer on campus, online and hybrid courses.
