William G. Anderson, D.O. Scholarship for Minority Students
This scholarship was established in 1998 to honor the distinguished professional and public career of Dr. Anderson and highlights his life-long commitment to civil rights and osteopathic medicine.

- Honors an outstanding minority medical student. For the purpose of this scholarship, a minority is defined as one of African American, Native American, mainland Puerto Rican or of Hispanic ethnic origin
- Entering second, third or fourth year of medical school in the upcoming academic year
- Demonstrated both academic achievement and outstanding leadership qualities
- One scholarship presented to recipient during the AOF Honors Ceremony, which is held annually during the Osteopathic Medical Conference and Exposition (OMED).
