About OSU Alerts
OSU-CHS has partnered with CodeRed to implement a service for the OSU-CHS community that will notify people in the case of an emergency. These emergencies may include:

  • A campus intruder
  • Acts of terrorism
  • Biohazard threats
  • It is important to note that alerts will not be used for weather-related events unless the situation poses a threat to the lives of people on campus.

In a situation deemed an emergency, OSU-CHS officials will deploy a message to members of the OSU-CHS community with information regarding the event and how they should proceed. This information may be in the form of a voice and/or mobile text.
